1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Previous recipients of a Workforce Development Scholarship at a Minnesota State community college may now apply for an additional year of $2,500 of funding at Minnesota State University, Mankato. To be eligible, students must provide proof that they received a Workforce Development Scholarship from a Minnesota State college, graduated from the college with a two-year associate's degree, and transfer into a corresponding bachelor's program. Students must enroll and remain enrolled in an eligible workforce development program in one of the following academic disciplines: Health Care, Early Childhood Education, Information Technology, Transportation, Advanced Manufacturing, and Agriculture. They must maintain 9 credits per term, a 2.0 GPA, and be a Minnesota resident. Preference for students with financial need, but not required.
