1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Fresh Start awards annual scholarships to women in Delaware based on financial need, personal challenges, and academic record. Scholarships are awarded for students to attend any of the accredited colleges and universities in the state. Applicants must have had at least a two-year break in their education either after completing high school or during post-secondary (college) studies. They must be a resident of Delaware, or be currently employed in Delaware for at least the past 12 months. Applicants must also be admitted to an accredited college in a two- or four-year degree program at the undergraduate level. They must submit one letter of recommendation from a college representative, a nonprofit/government agency or an employer. Applicants must also identify two persons (non-family members) to be called as a reference. They can be the same person who submits the applicant's letter of recommendation.
