Students must be transferring from a U.S. community college to a four-year university in pursuit of a STEM degree. Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in the field of Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other Sciences, not including agricultural, health, or life. Students who have received two Western Digital Scholarships in the past are ineligible. Provided enough applications are received, preference will be given to first generation college students and/or historically underserved students in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) including women and those who self-identify as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, or American Indian or Alaska Native.
