Wichita State University is a public, comprehensive university. Founded in 1895 as a private college, it joined the state system of higher education in 1964. It is located on a beautiful 330-acre campus in Wichita, the largest city in Kansas. Students have fantastic educational, economic and entertainment opportunities.
