UMassachusetts at Dartmouth, founded in 1895, is a public, comprehensive institution. With five professional colleges - business, engineering, visual and performing arts, nursing, and arts and sciences - UMASS Dartmouth offers more than 40 majors to 5,500 undergraduate and graduate students.
