SUNY College at Oswego, founded in 1861, is a public, multipurpose college of arts and sciences. The three SUNY College at Oswego schools (the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business and the School of Education) together offer more than 100 major, cooperative, preprofessional and graduate programs. Extensive internship and overseas study options and a college-wide honors program are also available. The school also features an extensive program of student-run organizations and athletic opportunities. Oswego''s beautiful 696-acre campus is on the shore of Lake Ontario, 35 miles northwest of Syracuse.
