Creighton University was founded in 1878 by the Jesuit order of the Roman Catholic Church in Omaha, Nebraska. It was built upon 450 years of the Jesuit tradition of excellence. This is apparent in the quality and diversity of the academic programs, faculty and students at Creighton.
