Founded in 1828, Georgia Regents University (formerly Georgia Health Sciences University) provides undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees in medicine, dentistry, nursing, and other biomedical fields. Its College of Allied Health Sciences offers undergraduate degrees in dental hygiene; health informatics; medical laboratory, imaging, and radiologic sciences; and respiratory therapy. The campus, which includes the Georgia Health Sciences Medical Center, is located in Augusta.
