Alabama A&M University is known for its strong academic programs in teacher education. Undergraduate courses are offered through the Schools of Agricultural and Environmental Science; Arts and Sciences; Business; Education; and Technology. The school is an historically black university established in 1875. Its 2,001-acre campus is located in northern Alabama.
