The AES Hawaii Scholarship Fund - Kauai was created in 2022. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship grants to students seeking higher education for those interested in majoring in fields that support renewable energy and sustainable environments. Applicants must be a student from Kauai Island. Preference will be given to recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year. Preference will also be given to residents of Lawai: 96741, 96756, 96765; and residents of West Kauai Energy Project (WKEP)/Kekaha: 96752.
