The University of Arizona, founded in 1885, is a public institution and one of the nation's top research universities. In addition to its long list of academic offerings, UA is home to one of the nation's largest honors colleges and more than 200 National Merit Scholars. The University offers a guaranteed tuition program to all undergraduate students enrolled on the university's main campus and pursuing a bachelor's degree.
